WEEKEND REMINDER
Breakfast Begins
July 17 & 18

This weekend, July 17 and 18, we’ll begin regular breakfast service here at Merlins Rest. We’ll open at 9:00 am, we’ll continue to do so on Saturdays and Sundays hereafter.

And this coming weekend, on Sunday morning, we’ll celebrate the new breakfast service with some foot-stomping fun courtesy of the Fat Chance Jug Band. They have an infectious sound. Come in for breakfast, some coffee and maybe even a “Spooky” bloody mary. At 1:00 pm, the Fat Chance Jug Band will start the entertainment.

THURSDAY CORRECTION

Merlin’s beard! Made a little mistake yesterday in posting that it was Deano’s week to play on Thursday night. Alas, I’ve skipped a week in my mind, but only because sometimes it gets a little confusing living backward, as Merlin must. Your future is my past: do you see? Thursday this week is Cooker John’s.

Cooker John is one of the Twin Cities’ finest musicians. He plays finger-style and slide guitar, mixing folk, blues and originals that reflect a performing experience of over 40 years. Pop in for a tincture and at the same time enjoy this opportunity to share a musical experience of unusual depth and expertise. Music starts around 8:30 PM.
