WORLD CUP SCHEDULE

As promised, here’s the schedule of data and times for World Cup matches we’ll be showing here in the pub. In support of these games, we’ll be opening earlier–1:00 pm, Monday through Friday; 9:00 am on Saturday and Sunday–to give you a chance to catch the freshest action on the big screen. The knockout round schedule will be posted when the tournament arrives at that stage.

JAM TIME

Just a reminder, dear friends: We hold a Tuesday night open jam each week: Folk, Blues and Beyond! All welcomed. Come armed with an instrument, or perhaps even just your own personal idiom. Starts about 8:00 pm.

GAME TIME
World Cup at Merlins Rest

Well, now. Inter Milan just took home the Champions League prize with a 2 – 0 out-classing of Bayern Munich. But now all those international stars have gone off to their national squads and are headed to South Africa for the World Cup–perhaps the greatest international sporting event and truly one of the world’s great parties.

We’ll be showing loads of World Cup football here at Merlins Rest. Come root on your team and catch the best in international soccer here on the big screen.

We will be playing the 1:30 pm games live and the 9:00 am game after the 1:30 pm game Monday through Friday. On Saturday and Sunday, both games will be played live at 9:00 am and 1:30 pm.

We’ll post game notices when the time is nigh.

The quadrenniel madness that is the World Cup takes place in South Africa 11 June – 11 July.
