The Watkins Pub Quiz

Sweet monkey! Seems the heat is starting to break. Celebrate with a spot of dinner and a pint at Merlins. Take in a bit of non-tortuous air on our patio. And take part in one of the Isles’ true joys: the pub quiz. It’s Wednesday, so that means we welcome our quizmaster Bill Watkins, a man of ever-changing mysteries.
Bill will deliver 25 questions to teams of up to 4, and it’s always a good time. Join in or just ogle. It’s a fantastic weekday break. Quiz starts at 7:30 pm sharpish.
THURSDAY
Monthly Scotch Tasting

Every first Thursday of the month, Merlins holds a grand scotch tasting. The next opportunity is Thursday, August 5.
What will be poured? We’ve got one of the Twin Cities’ best scotch collections, so you can be sure it’ll be a joy to the nose, the tongue, the belly and the blood. Our monthly tastings always include four or five nice pours from our extensive stock.
All (of age!) are invited to participate. And for those who do not wish to participate, hey: no worries! Please remember that we’re open for all, whether you’re here for dinner, a pint, or the tasting itself.
