you couldn’t ask for a better up coming weekend – Starting Saturday for Hymies Record Store Days – with Merlins Rest hosting the beer garden from noon to 7pm. Stop down at Merlins after or before for a quick bite!

Merlins Rest Day – Sunday April 21st – This is the day we wait for all year – 6 years we have been seeing you fine folks and we want to celebrate YOU – the day will start with brunch available at 11am, full English Roast starting around 1 with all the fixings including Yorkshire Pudding – Traditional Morris Dancing throughout the day – from 2-4pm we will all move inside for the monthly Pub Sing (this month is Gospel) – then back outside to finish with more dancing and singing. This is a perfect day to bring the family – and there will be CAKE!! Pimm’s Cup will be served starting today!

Shanty Sing and Earth Day – Monday April 22nd – there is a special surprise for everyone that orders a Take Away meal today and going forward – Starting at 7pm is our monthly Pub Shanty Sing – the pub is uplifted in song – everyone is welcome – the songs are sung to encourage all to participate

ST GEORGE’S DAY - we LOVE LOVE LOVE St George’s Day! Come with the family and share in the celebration of the patron saint of England – The Dragon Slayer!! John Neitz – our Minneapolis Town Crier will be here for the proclamation – we are also featuring the Morris Mens Team of the Braggarts – performing throughout the evening – this is sure to be an evening to remember!!! We will also announce the winner of the “raffle” baskets!!

We’ll roast him, we’ll toast him and all enjoy a meal together.

Advance tickets ($30) requested and may be purchased at Merlins Rest. We’re serving a traditional English roast beef dinner with mashed potatoes, gravy, peas & trimmings.

Our incredible softball team, Bangers & Mash, just won the Metro Tournament Championship! They lost their first game but then went on a magnanimous tear, winning their next seven–including four in the final day to capture the title. Cheers to Rich Westerberg, Jenny Bedeaux, Timothy Gilligan, Amanda Ritzer, Stephanie Vertachnik, Josh Page, Erin Fiedler, James Ondrey, Jonathan Thiel, Peter Shutte, Danielle Honnette and John Ondrey.
