St. Andrew’s Pub Night!

A grand evening is nigh!

First up, our dear friends who hold the cheekily-named “Drunken Knit Night” will be here (4:00-7:00 pm). And, yes, it’s knitting…but in the very best way: over pints and a spot of dinner. This group has been coming to Merlins every month or so for the past couple years, and they are great fun. All are welcomed at their (rather long) table.

And then, it’s the St. Andrew’s Pub Night! The St. Andrew’s Society is one of Minnesota’s best cultural groups. They keep Scottish culture in our state vibrant. In coordination with our weekly Kilt Night, the St. Andrew’s crew will be here for a pub night, starting at about 7:00 pm. And in support and celebration, we’re offering specials on single malts. Plus: Scotch eggs will be available throughout the night!

And let us NOT forget…it’s also Michele and Robert’s birthdays! So we’ll be celebrating those too.

As always on Fridays, the session musicians have a place here; so pop on up for the live Irish music too. It’s going to be a fantastic night!

So, everything old is new again, and everything new is awesome. We’ve got a new menu for the summer. It features lighter dishes and more local and sustainable selections. Also, we’ve got Bell’s Two Hearted on tap and PBR tall boys in the mix.

For yer fun and games, we’ve just got a nice new quoits board in from the UK, and we’ve got a beautiful new set of quoits. Don’t know what I’m talking about? Come on in and try it. Great craic to pair with your eve (or afternoon). It’s kind of addicting.
