Blind Fun, Bouncing Baby, and a Summer Menu

Well, we are sad to see a close to the most recent Blind Darts League, but please know we thoroughly enjoyed being one of the host pubs. And we’re especially proud of how well our two Merlins-based teams performed!

Gail’s team, in fact, finished FIRST! A whopping 108 wins this season. Brilliant. (Let’s hope the Twins can come close to that success.)

We look forward to next season and encourage all to take part in this truly unique darts league. All it takes is a blindfold, a pint (well, we think it helps!), and love of a good time.

The final stats from the league can be viewed in this document. Cheers!

CONGRATULATIONS, MARK & DANNI!

Wow! Welcome, Paula! We want to congratulate our good friends Mark and Danni Vavreck on the birth of their daughter, Paula. We’re over the moon to welcome another Merlins baby into this world. Lovely.

SCOTCH TASTING
Thursday, May 6
7:30 pm

The monthly Single-Malt Scotch Tasting returns! Tasting takes place at 7:30 pm. $25 to participate and four or five good pours included.

SUMMER MENU

On Sunday, May 9, we’re unveiling our summer food and drink menu. This also happens to be Mother’s Day, so we’ve got plenty of things to shout about.

The new menu finds us not only with lighter, tasty options for the sun season, but much more local. We’ll launch new sandwiches, salads, wraps and much more. Our burgers–already a treasure–will now be made with Thousand Hills Beef. And St. Agnes Bakery in St Paul has become our new bakery.

In short, we’re furthering our sustainable, responsible approach to food. We’re keeping it local at yer local–the one you voted Best Neighborhood Bar. (Thanks again. We’re really happy with all the support.)

In addition to offering 20% off on these new specials on Sunday, May 9, we will also have live music. Fantastic drinks, fantastic food, and loads of fun.

See you then!
