March into April

REMINDER: We’re getting loads of requests for group gatherings and parties at Merlins (and we love them!). Please know we do offer a special catering menu for parties. Also, for larger groups that happen to out and about, we welcome and recommend reservations on weekends. Given a heads up, we can best prepare and accommodate your group. Also, the Folk Jam (circa 8:00 onward). It’s open to all, so if you’d like to come armed with an instrument, please do.


No fooling! It may be April Fool’s Day, and perhaps our quizmaster(s) will use it as a theme, but the Wednesday Night Pub Quiz (7:30 pm) is no joke–it’s much more fun! Bring your friends, enemies and trivia ringers. Share a few laughs with us and stay smart pub-style.


The monthly Single-Malt Scotch Tasting returns! Tasting takes place at 7:30 pm. $25 to participate and four or five good pours included.



It’s a gooooood Friday! As the Lenten season comes nearly to a close, join us for a salmon special and some live Irish music. It’s also Kilt Night, so wear your tartan get a free pint!


Music from Papa John and the Hot Club of East Lake (8:00 pm). We get a number of groups coming in on Saturdays, so be sure to call ahead with a reservation if you need us to hold a spot for you. It is recommended.


The Sunday Pub Quiz! Bob Gibson has volunteered to host this special Easter Day quiz. It all goes down at 7:30 pm.

And if you’d like to host a quiz some time, please do! We always welcome new quiz masters, as do the players (many of whom take a week off of playing in order to host). Anyone can volunteer. Email for more information.
