Anne Campbell Book Launch
We love to support local authors, and we’ll continue that trend on Tuesday, September 8, at 7:00 pm as we host writer Anne Campbell and the launch of her czarist-Siberia-set novel Ssylka.
Ssylka follows the experiences of a privileged Russian woman who follows her husband into political exile in the Siberian wilderness.
Ms. Campbell will give a short reading from the book and will be available for discussion and signings.
It’s Tuesday, and the instruments are out. Join a host of friends here as they jam without amps or mics. It’s a little thing we like to call the Folk Jam: mandolins, guitars, simple percussion, fiddles, etc. Fantastic stuff.
See you tonight!
4:00 – 7:00 pm
In addition to the weekly hoolie that is Kilt Night with Live Irish Music, this Friday, September 11, is also Knit Night. From roughly 4:00 – 7:00 pm, our good friends in the Twin Cities most-pint-drinkingest knitting club will be here knitting–and telling–yarns. Lots of laughter, lots of fun. We adore them.
Interested in joining them? Please do! All are welcomed.
