Brunch: 12:00-2:00 pm
Film: 4:00-5:00 pm (Sean Connery’s Edinburgh)
Music: 9:00 pm – The Hot Club of East Lake with Papa John Kolstad
It’s Tartan Day, my friends: Wear your tartan with pride!
While one never needs an excuse to don the kilt or throw back a pint of Scotland’s finest (Belhaven), it’s an annual event and much fun. Various Scottish organizations have activities around the Cities, the state and the country.
We certainly welcome you here and are even showing the 1983 documentary Sean Connery’s Edinburgh from 4:00 – 5:00 pm. It’s free and fun. Yer man Bill Watkins, who wrote Scotland Is Not for the Squeamish and conducts our Wednesday pub quiz, served as lighting director on the film and will provide an introduction (which very well may include an unusual anecdote about Mr. Connery or perhaps his brother).
Don’t forget! We’ve got brunch from 12:00 – 2:00 pm and music from the Hot Club of East Lake with Papa John Kolstad tonight at 9:00 pm!
