RABBIE BURNS KILT NIGHT
Every year we celebrate the great Scotsman and poet Robert Burns. While Burns is celebrated traditionally on the 25th, we are rolling our revels in with our weekly Kilt Night–as is our tradition.
(Don’t be surprised if a nod to old Rabbie is given during Sunday night’s pub quiz!)
In addition to some poems and songs by Burns, we’ll have some live, traditional Irish music (as us Isles got to stick together!). Get a single-malt whisky and raise a glass to yer man!
All are invited to participate. And if you’d like to read a poem or learn more about kilts (and perhaps getting your own made) just ask our man Bill Watkins who will be leading the charge. Don’t know much about Scotland? Try his book: Scotland Is Not for the Squeamish.
SPEAKING OF SCOTCH…
