We have two scheduling changes to announce regarding Thursday’s music line up in October.

More on those nights soon.

Thursday, October 2, 7:30 pm

Happy days are here again!

The Whisky Wench (Fiona) returns on Thursday, October 2 at 7:30 pm to host the next Single-Malt Whisky Tasting. The details:$25 flat fee to participate; 4 – 5 grand pours from our extensive stock. It’s great fun and really really great scotch. Cheers to the Wench! She’s an absolute gem.

Tuesday, September 30

Tonight we’ll be having our regular mid-week fun, and we’ve even (permanently) moved it up a day. It’s the Merlins Rest Folk Jam. Bill Watkins and friends will be in the pub, and many of them will come armed with guitars, mandolins, or whatever other noisemaker strikes ‘em. It’s all about the Muse on Tuesday nights now. It’s free, informal, and loads of fun. Folk music and jamming as it ought to be.

Music starts around 7:30 pm.

Monday through Thursday

Whether it’s been a hard day or a really lovely one, we invite you up for after work specials here at Merlins Rest. From 4:00 – 6:00 pm, Monday through Thursday, we’re offering $3.75 import pints–and we’ve got some of the best: Guinness, Belhaven, Fuller’s, etc. Other beer and liquor specials will be available too, as will food specials on cheese dips, lamb chops and more. We’re even going to throw in some prize drawings.
