June 12: Mosher-Ekstrand Experiment

Tonight: The Mosher-Ekstrand Experiment
Time: 9:00 pm

Our friends Kathy Mosher and Bobby Ekstrand will be in the pub tonight providing the music. They are treasures, those two. They’ll play an eclectic mix that ranges from folk to blues–toss in a dash of rock and a jazz to taste and you’ve got a dynamite evening. Music from 8:30/9:00 – 11:00.

It’s the Mosher-Ekstrand Experiment! And it’s good. See you soon.

It seems a curious sight, but it’s an absolute blast. Knitters from the Twin Cities gather here at Merlins every month or two to trade stories, further their skills, and, all in all, take down a few pints. We love ‘em dearly. Really great fun.

For those interested in learning more or perhaps joining them, they’ll be here Friday, June 13, from about 4:00 – 7:00 pm. In the meantime, check out Ravelry.com. It’s a wonderful resource for knitting and well done website. Look for the Crafty in Minnesota participants.

Another site you might explore is Etsy.com, where you can find a good number of Minnesotans posting their handmade work for sale.
