April 18: Kilt Night & Live Celtic Music

Irish and Scottish Pubs in MinneapolisTonight: Kilt Night & Live Celtic Music
Time: 9:00 pm

It’s our ANNIVERSARY WEEK and we’re breaking out the kilts. All are invited up per usual, of course, but if you’ve got a kilt, hey: wear it! We are. You should too.

Show off the tartans (and your knees), listen to some live Celtic music (session style), and tell some tales around the bar. If you haven’t attended one of our Celtic music sessions, you really must. It’s one of the must spirited events you’ll find in the Cities. It’s an open invite to all the musicians who keep traditional Irish and Celtic music alive: fifes, bodhrans, fiddles, pipes and guitars. If there’s an instrument used in the traditional arrangements, you’re apt to find them here.

Great craic and tasty pints. It’s Friday, friends: enjoy it!

Saint Paul Irish DancersEileen Dahill’s Saint Paul Irish Dancers will be in the pub in the early evening tomorrow! We’re very happy to host these girls again. Catch  ’em ahead of the Hot Club of East Lake‘s jazz performance. The Hot Club gets under way at 9:00 pm, so look for the dancers to entertain the pub at about 7:00 pm.
