It’s the weekly folk jam! Pop up to the pub and visit with our guitar and mandolin-armed friends, or bring your own instrument and get to know Bill Watkins and the gang.
And while you’re here, we suggest you sample the spicy cheese bites? or the 5-Bean Guinness Stew? or the BBC Burger? There are plenty of choices on our new menu.
COMING SOON
A sneak peek at February for you:
Monday, February 4, 7 PM – Merlins Medieval History Meetup Group. Join us ahead of the open mic for a bit of fun discussion about heralds, crests, family histories, Renaissance Fair-type topics, and so forth. Have questions? Have curious knowledge of former days? Join us and share your stories.
Thursday, February 7, 7:30 PM – Single-Malt Whisky Tasting. Join fellow tasters and sample four or five grand pours from our stock. $25 flat fee to participate. Scottish music provided for all. So bring your friends and tell your enemies!
Saturday, February 16 – Scottish Night! The Scottish Ramble‘s first day will conclude in downtown St. Paul, and then we’ll gather here in the pub for a night of Scottish revelry: Cock-a-Leekie Soup, libations, kilts and more. We had a blast on Burns Night. We’re going to have a blast again. All are invited.
Thursday, February 28, 6:00 PM - Birds & the Beers Gathering! Sharon Stiteler (aka, the Birdchick) is calling all birders together again for pints and a meetup.
Are you gathering in the pub? Let us know and we’ll help put out the word on our EVENTS page and here on the home page.
