Wednesday: New Menu, Folk Jam and More

It’s here! The NEW MENU! We’ve been tinkering with the menu for quite some time, and as many of you know a number of these items have been unofficially available. We appreciate all the suggestions we receive. They’ve helped us narrow in on our winter fare.

Check out not just our crazy-good bangers and mash but our vegetarian bangers and mash! No joke. And there’s spicey cheese bites, a vegan-friendly 5-bean Guinness Stew, our Cornish pasties (regular and vegetarian), the BBC Burger, a vegetable melt, a thing we call Excalibur, Deep Dish Fruit Pieand so much more.

Tuck in!

Well well well! The middle of the week is suddenly upon us. Lovely.

Tonight we’ll be having our regular mid-week fun with the Merlins Rest Folk Jam. Billy Watkins and friends will be in the pub, and many of them will come armed with guitars, mandolins, or whatever other noisemaker strikes ’em. It’s all about the Muse on Wednesday nights. It’s free, informal, and loads of fun. Folk music and jamming as it ought to be.

Pop in and warm up with the people, the pints and pub fare–again, from the NEW MENU!

We’re always happy to announce the gatherings of people who are meeting in the pub and who have extended open invites to other to join them. Tonight:

Wednesday, January 16, 7 – 9 PM – The Druids Grove monthly gathering. If you’ve an interest in the spiritual path of Druidry, by all means stop up and meet our friends in this group. All are welcomed.
