Hide the silver! Lock up the china! It’s Bedlam!
Indeed. Those marauding, scotch-loving, good-humored Celtic cats known as Bedlam will descend upon Merlins Rest from the Bedlam Mothership tonight and provide some rollicking Irish and Scottish folk and their own finely honed sense of jamming. It’s a truly spirited evening. Great fun.
So fill up the belly with a pie and a pint and fill up the soul with Bedlam and their many friends in the audience. Great laughs to be had. Music starts about 9 pm.
Right! We will be open aton Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Years Eve until late. Some details:
* Christmas Eve will feature our classic British Isles-style Knees Up (“knees up” = party) featuring all our friends, family and anyone that wants to join in on the entertainmen, buckshee (free-of-charge), of course.
* Christmas day will offer a Traditional Christmas Quiz that entails 5 x 5 question segments. A prize will be  awarded at the end of each segment and a grand prize will be awarded at the end for the winner. This monstrous quiz will be co-hosted by Frankendingley and Willy Watkins.
(Scots for New Years Eve) – We’ll be open from 2.00 PM until some time in 2008! So bring in the new year Scottish style. Kilts and bagpiping included. So count down the hours and minutes with us as 2008 approaches and our piper readies himself for a nice round of “Auld Lange Syne” (song sheets to be supplied to all so we expect everyone to sing!).
