Scotland, how we love thee! It’s Thursday and time for our next single-malt scotch tasting event. Tonight at 7:30 pm we’ll hit the Highlands, sampling 4 – 5 scotches for a flat fee of $25 per person. (This is applied only to participants, of course. The pub is open for other merriment too.) It’s a wonderful time and it’s wonderful scotch. See the stock on our menu page and check out some photos from last month’s event here and here.
Afterwards, local singer/songwriter Tom Bradley will perform. Good on ye!
The Birds and the Beers
Well, the Birdchick is at it again! And we like it that way. On Tuesday, July 17, at 6 pm she’ll be gathering with other bird enthusiasts at Merlins Rest. It’s an informal get-together for beginners, novices, professional ornithologists, what level you may be at. It’s free and fun. Use the link above (at “Birdchick”) to read about her gathering at her blog and to see some lovely photos of a tufted titmouse.
