Sunday Pub Quiz - 8 pm

Wow. We’re still recovering from that Preakness race! Amazing finish.
But one cannot live in the past–unless it involves trivia! Sunday nights you’ll find the always welcoming pub quiz. It’s free and fun to play. How many questions? 25. How many people per team? Up to 4. What time is the quiz held? 8 pm. What sort of subjects might one encounter? Oh, the cinema, sports, animals, history, current events, cartoons, etc. It’s trivia, after all. It can be about anything.
Is there a theme? Sometimes.
Cash Prize
Our madman John Dingley has been adding $40 to a pot each week. Quiz participants earn points for both the quiz–two points per correct answer, so total of 50 points per quiz–and one for each week you attend. So if you score 36 and this is your third quiz, you have 39 points. Why is this important?
Because when someone reaches 50 points or more they will win the pot! (Numbers reset when someone wins.)
So $40 goes in each week. A third-time player who scores 42 has 45. A first time player who scores 49 has 50 so wins it all. It’s Welsh math! And it’s a hoot. Please join us. 8 pm.
