AND COMING SOON…
April 28, Saturday - The Official Grand Opening Blow Out! - 6 pm - 2 am
Though we’re humming along already we thought we’d take a moment on Saturday, April 28, to recognize officially the opening of Merlins Rest. Join us! The ribbon will be cut at 6 pm.
May 3, Thursday: Kentucky Derby Selection Show - 9 pm -
Specials on Mint Juleps! Ladies Hat Competition!

Get in the proper spirit for the Kentucky Derby with a mint julep, your best Derby Day hat, and some elegant conversation with our resident horse-handicappers John, Tony and Gordy. (Handicappers are people who study racing seriously; they don’t hurt the horses!) Learn the inside track on this year’s entrants, betting strategies, and horse racing in general. Also, all three are well-familiar with Minnesota’s own live racetrack Canterbury Park so can discuss the upcoming season that begins Saturday, May 5–Derby Day! This event is, of course, free and informal. So please come horse around at the pub with us!

A “largish” I meant, not larger
Chas,
Thanks so much for that! We’re building a links page and will link through to the site you’ve mentioned. I quote the old dudes from Bartles & James: “We thank you for your support.”
Happy days,
